Craft Hope for Haiti

The love is accummulating fast at Etsy's shop Craft Hope

An incredible $7,000 was raised in just 2 days by the crafty mamas behind the scenes.

Heres how it works and how you can help:

-If you are good a making stuff with your hands, you can donate some of your crafts to Craft Hope, and the proceeds of the sales will go directly to Doctors Without Borders who are working hard helping survivors in Haiti.

-However if you are not a crafty kind of person but still want to help, you could then go to the Etsy's shop Craft Hope and purchase something from there.

-Another way of spreading the word would be by embedding the following button on your blog or website, which is linked directly to the Craft Hope shop:

Please Twitter this post to help spread the word faster!!

Handmade Jewelry from Peru

A jewelry designer from Peru, Alida, of Alida Joyas has come to my attention recently with her unique style, which features mostly Sterling Silver combined together with Peruvian natural stones, leather, etc (among other material) resulting in simple, yet stunning creations:

In one of her eye catching collections she has created jewelry using color pencil slices!

You can visit her online shop at Etsy right here:  Alida Joyas, or visit her blog ( alidajoyas ) to read more about her

Lovely Clusters

There are a lot of beautiful blogs out there, and Rachel Follet's Lovely Clusters blog is among the ones on top of my list.  She features items either by color or by category, resulting in an attractive cluster of simply "BEAUTIFUL - DREAMY - HANDMADE" items.  And guess what!  She considers my items beautiful enough to be worthy of her blog!!  Check it out here, where you can see my 2 necklaces she has named "Bubbles Bib Necklace" and "Blue Bib Necklace"
