If I could say just one thing about this necklace, that would be that it's unusual.
Actually, I could say a lot more things about it! It's beautiful, for sure, it is statement-making (it shouts "I'm UNIQUE"), it took me altogether quite a few hours to make it, it's attractive, it's colorful, it's got a nice weight to it (not too heavy and not flimsy at all), and most of all I MADE IT! So I guess you could say that I'm very proud of my newest creation! Enjoy!

Out of all my Etsy favorites, archaicdesign is the one I keep going back to for inspiration and just whenever my eyes need a dose of candy rush. All her designs are beautiful, but her "Sanguine Necklace" has got to be my most favorite of all my favorites :)
Beautiful rocks all clustered together and wire wrapped in sterling silver.

Dulce de Membrillo (Quince Paste)
There were some irresitible looking quince at the supermarket the other day that were begging me to take them home. So I did..... and what did I do with them? Well I found this easy, delicious-looking recipe for "dulce de membrillo" (quince paste) and decided to try it out.
Here's a picture of my results, and yes, it's as delicious as it looks on my picture:
