A jewelry designer from Peru, Alida, of Alida Joyas has come to my attention recently with her unique style, which features mostly Sterling Silver combined together with Peruvian natural stones, leather, etc (among other material) resulting in simple, yet stunning creations:

  In one of her eye catching collections she has created jewelry using color pencil slices!

My First Custom Order :)

Got my first ever custom order!!!  It was a really great experience working together with the buyer, listening to her thoughts and ideas and finally creating a necklace that she was pleased with.

I got an email this morning that really made my day!  Etsy seller lunahoo included my "Statement Necklace" in her Treasury!!!  Here's a snapshot of the "So Nice" treasury she created (and where you can see my necklace).

Stop and smell the Daffodils

Daffodils are in season now here in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. I got these wild ones growing in my garden.  Wish you could smell them! Their pungent perfume is so exciting and intoxicating at the same time.  I dare say I picked the bulbs from a field a few years ago, which in my opinion is a form of preserving this species, seeing that the whole island is being built up so much, soon we will have no wild life at all!
